Measurement for Process Control The BG710 makes accurate real-time on-line moisture measurements in biscuits and cookies (wire-cut or moulded), crackers and crisp breads at the exit of a conveying oven, enabling the user to optimize downstream process efficiency and product quality by maintaining moisture content within desired limits.
Automatic Product Detection A fast-reacting (1.25ms) integral product detection system uses optical triangulation to locate the leading and trailing edges of individual biscuits in the product stream, and the BG710 processor logic activates measurement data collection only when a biscuit is passing through the 10mm square measurement area – this is referred to as the “Gating” system.
